Deepa Aneja a teacher by profession is always eager to learn and explore novel things . She explored gym workouts, aerobics, yoga and regular walks for so many years to keep her fit. Running came to her list when she accompanied her husband for Leh, ladakh half marathon 2019. The dedication, persistence and vigour which she found in runners, turned her into a runner very soon. Running felt like meditation to her and She trained herself for so many virtual runs10k and 21k category during 2020 and 2021. Her PB for half marathon was 2:10 in ADHM 2020.She dreamt of doing leh 21k which She accomplished this year in 2:40. Best part of these targets always keep her disciplined, committed with a spirit of ‘ never give up’. This journey doesn’t stop here . Her bucket list calls for full marathons with a strong finish. She is very excited for pacing 10k as this calls for the applied part of her profession: facilitator, motivator and a partner in running. Run karte karte running se pyar ho jaye.
