Brief profile description about yourself:
Running for Gayatri started as a mere hobby to stay fit and explore the city of Kolkata where she was posted for work. However, it wasn’t until 2015 when she moved back to Delhi and joined a weekend running club with her mother at Nehru Park that she signed up for her first Half Delhi marathon in November’15. Since then she has completed over 25 Half Marathons and 5 Full Marathons.
Today running and even the training around marathons has become a part of her schedule to unwind and kickstart a bright new day. Also, while traveling running has become a excuse to explore a city and get to know the vibe of the place.
As a pacer she wants to give back what she has learned over the years to help other runners experience the joy of completing that quintessential milestone at VDHM.
