Vipla Foundation (Legal entity registered as Save The Children India) is on a mission to ensure that nothing stops children of India from Learning, Growing and Flourishing. They work primarily with children of all ages through Early Childhood Care & Education, Prevention, Early Intervention & education of children with disabilities. The organisation also works with women and girls from most vulnerable communities and those who are victims of sexual violence including sex trafficking and provides them with opportunities of education, employability, entrepreneurship, quality institutional care, safe return & repatriation and access to justice.

United Way Delhi is an independent local not-for-profit organization affiliated to the United Way Worldwide Family- one of the World’s Largest Leadership with 1800 affiliate chapters across 41 countries. United Way Delhi (UWD) since 2008, is working actively to advance the ‘common good’ for local community through innovative interventions and partnerships. They aspire to improve lives by addressing local priority issues, creating lasting impact and implementing diverse engagement and resource mobilization under various domains, including Early Childhood, Education, Financial Stability, Health, Environment, and Disaster Response.

CREATION WELFARE SOCIETY

Creation Welfare Society is a grassroots organization working for women’s empowerment, upskilling, and education of marginalized people of the community to redirect their livelihood, and education, and improve their health conditions. Their goal is to bring about social, economic, cultural and political development of the poor by providing them Income Generation Activitie (IGA) support.

WOMEN SPORTS FOUNDATION (WSF)

WSF is a non-government organisation, working since the March of 2012. Sports and health are WSFs primary objectives. Along with these, it is also working on multipurpose objectives like promotion of arts & cultural, education, skill development, handcrafts & textiles, cottage & small scale industries, cancer awareness, environment & climate change, water, sanitation & hygiene, etc.

Sarthak as a civil society organization dedicatedly has created a lifetime impact in lives of PwDs, with its primary aim to make them- Financially Independent, which is further ensured by providing Vocational Skill training in varied sectors. Sarthak’s vision is of an India where PwDs live with dignity and their mission is to empower PwDs through skill building and employment.

Dr. A.V. BALIGA MEMORIAL TRUST

Dr. A.V. Baliga Memorial Trust founded by Bharat Ratna Aruna Asaf Ali is a non-profit organization operating its diversified activities in slums and resettlement colonies of Delhi and performing various developmental activities comprising education, women’s empowerment, livelihood promotion, children’s and adolescent rights and protection, health and sanitation for over five decades. The vision is to endeavor to bring about a secular nationally integrated egalitarian society empowering the disadvantaged through education, awareness and employment opportunities.

KARAN PURI FOUNDATION

The Karan Puri Foundation is a non-profit organisation registered under the The Indian Trust Act,1882. Established by Late Arti Puri the foundation works extensively on issues related to Animal Welfare. The key focus areas include feeding, vaccination and sterilisation, amongst others.

DON BOSCO TECH SOCIETY

Don Bosco Tech Society (DB Tech) was founded in 2006 with a vision to bridge digital, social and economic divide in India by significantly contributing to the development of the marginalized youth by enhancing the employability and life management skills. Don Bosco Tech attempts to bridge the widening divide between those who have access to opportunities and those who are increasingly being marginalized from the ‘new economy’ jobs.

SOCIETY FOR REACHING THE UNREACHED (SRU)

SRU aims to increase the accessibility of opportunities and facilities to the most unreached and marginalized communities and individuals. Youth, women & children from People Below Poverty Line (BPL), SCs, STs, and minorities living in urban slums and rural areas of low-ranking districts on development indices their strategic targets for development. The mission is to build the Capacities of Communities, Community Institutions and its Stakeholders to Ensure Participation of Marginalized and Vulnerable Populations in Mainstream Development Processes.

COMPUTER SHIKSHA

Computer Shiksha (CS) helps provide free computer literacy for the under-served at needy schools where students are already regularly attending classes. They deliver CS video course-ware, training, monitoring, evaluation, free lifetime maintenance support, and certification.

DIL SE MEHEK

Dil Se Mehek is a registered non-government organization, striving ceaselessly in the field of health and education. The focus is on families who are financially challenged and can’t meet the financial requirements for medical, educational & the nutritional needs of their children.

SUKARYA

Sukarya’s Gender Equality Program is designed to work with and for adolescent girls, to help them realize their power and rights, through education and guidance. ‘Sukarya’ has differentiated itself on the basis of transformative work undertaken over the last 24 years across more than 650 villages and 120 slums in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan.

INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY & ACCOUNTABILITY (ISRA) 

ISRA helps marginalized population in availing government welfare schemes and create an opportunity for livelihood and employment. So far, more than 2 lakh people have benefitted from ISRA’s several initiatives including availing welfare schemes, covid vaccination, livelihood training and employment.

BHARTI FOUNDATION

Bharti Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, an Indian business conglomerate based in Gurgaon. It conducts free programs in both primary and higher education for the underprivileged children, with a particular focus on girls. The foundation has been recognized by many societies and award committees for its corporate social responsibility programs.

Dr. ARCHIKA FOUNDATION

DAF is a pioneer non-government organization established in 2013. The NGO has been working diligently towards its mission to eradicate blindness and vision impairments. Under its project “Rise for Eyes”, the foundation in collaboration with various hospitals has been raising awareness about cataract and general blindness through its various eye camps. They are also committed towards the upliftment of women and children and environmental conservation.

EACH ONE FEED ONE

The EOFO initiative was founded in August 2020 to bring about positive change in the lives of marginalized communities. The initiative works to transform the knowledge base, skills, and capacities of their team into impacting the lives of individuals and their communities to provide a self-sustaining ecosystem. EOFO aims at promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities alongside intervention in other domains such as skill training, hunger, health, education, hygiene, and other entitlements.

MAYA CARE FOUNDATION

To make PWDs’ lives more fulfilling with financial stability and better livelihood opportunities, Maya CARE Foundation aims to empower individuals with disabilities by training and skilling them under Project Bindu. Project Bindu is operational across India, and it trains PWD via online sessions to make them skilled in technical back-end work that they can support in the fields of HR, Accounting and Data, Marketing & Finance.

ACTION FOR ABILITY DEVELOPMENT & INCLUSION 

AADI is an established national level organization working for the rights of all PwDs. They pursue the vision of an enabling world in which PwDs are acknowledged as a form of human diversity and are able to live with dignity, make all decisions about life; pursue equal opportunities; belong and contribute to families and communities.

MAITRAYANA

Maitrayana’s vision is to work towards a gender equal society in which girls and women can exercise their rights. Maitrayana leverages the power of sport to create ecosystems that empower girls and women to fulfil their potential. The focus of the Young People’s Initiative (YPI) is on providing access to sport and provide safe spaces to develop life and leadership skills so that they can make decisions about their own lives and influence change in their families/communities.

SMILE FOUNDATION

Smile Foundation, an Indian social development organization, is directly benefitting over 15 lakh children and their families every year. They have more than 400 live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood, and women’s empowerment in over 2,000 remote villages and urban slums across 25 states of India.

PINKISHE FOUNDATION

Pinkishe is an ‘All-women’ Non-profit organization headquartered in New Delhi. Pinkishe focuses on the development, well-being, pride, and happiness of Indian women and the girl-child. The Foundation runs multiple programs for girls and women, the flagship being PADBANK, and work on spreading Menstrual Hygiene awareness and distributing free reusable sanitary pads to slums and rural areas.

MANZIL MYSTICS

Manzil Mystics is a Delhi-based band and non-profit, formed by a bunch of musicians passionate about bringing social change and inclusion through music. They create inclusive and safe spaces for children and young adults to express themselves freely and inculcate life skills and learn about various topics, through music.

RAILWAY CHILDREN INDIA

Railway Children India has a vision to create a world where no child ever has to live on the streets. With this vision, they are working at 7 railway stations in 6 states Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Delhi to protect vulnerable children. For them, the child comes first, and their outreach teams work 24*7 at the railway platforms to identify and protect children arriving alone and at risk of exploitation, trafficking, abuse, and even death.

EDUCATIONAL & DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES (EDI)

Educational & Development Initiatives (EDI) fosters ideals of service, leadership, advancement of learning, and relief for the poor. The largest project of EDI is the Kamalini Vocational Training centre for women on Sohna Road in Haryana, where needy women gain livelihood skills to support themselves and their families.

CHILD HEART FOUNDATION (CHF)

Child Heart Foundation (CHF) was formed to support children with heart defects born in underprivileged families. Their focus is to help the families who are indigent or needy and can’t meet the financial requirements for heart surgery or intervention. CHF was started with an idea by parents who have been through similar situations and have gotten over with their tough part of life and now want to contribute to the underprivileged families.

YUVRAJ SINGH FOUNDATION

The YouWeCan Foundation (registered as Yuvraj Singh Foundation) is a non-profit organization established by cricketer and cancer survivor Yuvraj Singh. The Foundation works with the mission to empower people to defeat cancer through awareness, early detection, patient support and survivor empowerment. The Foundation has a vision of an India empowered to defeat cancer. Their mission is to empower all people to fight cancer through awareness, early detection, patient support and survivor empowerment.

Established in 1994, Udayan Care is a public charitable trust which works in the fields of Child & Youth Care, Education & Empowerment of Girls, Skilling underprivileged Youth & Women, and Advocacy for Alternative Care, Child Rights, and Family Strengthening. Headquartered in New Delhi, it has its presence in 34 cities and 15 states of India. Udayan Care’s vision is “Making Young Lives Shine”.

CONCERN INDIA FOUNDATION

Concern India Foundation was set up in 1991 as a registered non-profit, public charitable trust to extend financial and non-financial support to grassroots level NGOs working in the areas of education, health and community development. SALAAM BALAK TRUST

In the 1980s, the making of Mira Nair’s award-winning, ‘Salaam Bombay’, revealed the dark underbelly of Mumbai’s streets, where several childhoods were at stake. SBT provides a sensitive and caring environment for street and working children, and those in difficult circumstances. It seeks to provide a platform for children to realize their full potential, their right to a safe and secure space, education, and health and nutrition. The mission is to help children experience their childhood in a safe environment and turn their dreams into reality!

KSHAMTALAYA FOUNDATION

Kshamtalaya is a not-for-profit organisation founded to support the education of children in the vulnerable sections of society to accelerate their growth in social and economic aspects leading to active and responsible community members. Their interventions strive for school enrolment, regular attendance, school learning outcomes & overall life choices in rural and marginalised areas. NADA India advocates for balanced and healthy public policies to prevent, control non-communicable diseases and promotes child friendly, gender sensitive and drug free healthy lifestyles. NADA India has been creating the spaces and nurturing diverse networks of community-based initiatives amongst the marginal and most at risk populations in the urban contexts of the metros as well as in the tier two and three towns.

Learning By Locals is an education-based NGO that is committed towards giving the youth the guidance required to take their careers forward and to help them achieve their life goals. Their aim is to equip students with necessary practical skills such as: English language, computer skills, knowledge on a variety of social issues and leadership skills.

THE EARTH SAVIOURS FOUNDATION

The Earth Saviours Foundation (T.E.S.F.) is an internationally acclaimed and recognized non-profit organization. MOTIVATION INDIA

Motivation India works with people with mobility disabilities across India by providing customized and appropriate wheelchairs. It is a public charitable trust and a disability-focused non- profit committed to upholding the World Health Organization (WHO) “Guidelines on the Provision of Manual wheelchairs in Less Resourced Settings” which set out standards for assessment and safe fitting of wheelchairs.

RAINBOW FOUNDATION INDIA

“Rainbow Homes Program” is a PAN-India caring movement run by Rainbow Foundation India, an Indian non-profit humanitarian organization, and was established in 1990. The program provides comprehensive care to children who have faced extreme vulnerabilities in street situation and are rescued from a life of uncertainty, helplessness, and impending criminalisation through its residential and community-based care. Social Development Research Foundation (SDRF) is set up to promote underprivileged child & woman without distinguishing on caste, color, and religion basis. They achieve this by providing them non-formal, primary, secondary, and advanced education. They also provide need-based medical assistance with focus on those unfortunate people who die because of lack of proper and timely medical facilities.

Established in 1996, Literacy India (LI) is a non-profit organization working on interconnected issues under the rubrics of Education, Empowerment, Employability and Environment for the under-privileged children, youth and women to help them become self-reliant and contribute in nation building. ETASHA was founded in 2006 by Dr Meenakshi Nayar to work with youth from low resource settings. Established in the year 1999, NLR India Foundation has a vision to create an inclusive society free from Leprosy, other skin Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and related Disabilities. With a presence in 150 leprosy colonies spread across 129 districts and 7 states, they have been in the forefront to address various issues faced by persons affected by leprosy and disabilities. People for Animals works to improve the lives of animals and their programmes are driven by our belief in the intrinsic dignity and sanctity of animal life. Their work include rescue, relief and rehabilitation of homeless and abandoned animals in distress. They implement Birth Control and Anti-Rabies Programme for community dogs and encourage responsible animal guardianship. They fight against animal cruelty, work for the implementation of Animal Protection Laws, promote humane treatment of animals and support environment conservation initiatives.

Established in 2014, Wishes and Blessings is a registered NGO which aims to help the underprivileged by linking beneficiaries with donors.
