What does the registration fee cover?

Can I participate in a Half Marathon without a prior timing certificate?

No, Entry to the half marathon race category is only against a timing certificate (except limited places for Women's criteria and Charity running places). You may participate in one of the upcoming races & get a timing certificate. To view Half Marathon confirmation criteria click here

Please note, the timing certificate will have to be given at the time of registration and cannot be submitted later.

As a Women participant, is it mandatory for me to submit the prior timing certificate to participate in the Half marathon race category?

To encourage women’s participation, there are a limited number of running places reserved for women applicants who cannot submit a timing certificate or do not fall within the timings criteria.

Can I participate in the Open 10K without a prior timing certificate?

Yes. You can participate in the Open 10K race category without a prior timing certificate under general criteria.

Can I register for more than one race category at the on-ground event?

No. An individual can apply only for one race category at the on-ground event. Multiple applications will entail all being rejected.

Who can participate in the Champions with Disability race category?

Participation in the Champions with Disability (CWD) is open for individuals with the following disabilities: physical/locomotor disability, intellectual impairment, visual impairment, hearing impairment and orthopedic or neurological disorder.

Is it mandatory to participate with a Buddy (attendant) in the Champions With Disability race category?

We recommend participants of the Champions with Disability be accompanied by his/her Buddy (attendant) on race day. The buddy must be 18 years and above (born on or before 14th October 2005)as on the race day.

Is attaching a passport sized photograph with the online application form compulsory?

Yes, it has to be provided with each application form at the time of submission of application. Online applicants need to attach their photograph with their face clearly visible whilst submitting the application; the photograph size should not exceed 3 MB in .jpeg and .png format.
All participants’ race day images will be screened visually after the race and matched with the photo provided at the time of registration. If the photo provided during registration does not match with the race day photo of the confirmed participant, the registered runner will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event.

Is attaching a Govt. issued photo ID proof with my application compulsory?

Yes, applicants need to attach their Govt. issued photo ID proof whilst submitting the application; the photograph size should not exceed 3 MB in .jpeg and .png format.
Govt. issued photo ID proof will include documents like Passport, PAN Card, and Aadhaar Card.

Is it mandatory to submit PAN card details, for the donation I made during the registration process?

Yes, for your donation, it is mandatory to submit your PAN details asked during the registration process.

How can an overseas applicant apply for the Event?

An overseas applicant can apply ONLY through online registrations.

In whose name should the cheque or demand draft be made in case of group registrations?

Which payment mode will be accepted for online registration?

An online applicant can pay ONLY via credit card, net banking, debit card, UPI and payment wallets.

How will my entry acceptance be intimated to me?

Post 7 days of registration, individual applicants are required to go to the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon website, login into their profile using the registered email id and check “profile section” for their application status.

Can I register for both on-ground and virtual event?

Yes, you can register for both on-ground and virtual event, using the same email id.

Can I register for the virtual event if I have already registered for an on-ground event previously?

Yes, you can login with the same email id and proceed to the virtual race category section, pay and register in case you have already registered for the on-ground race category previously.

Can I run both on-ground as well as the virtual race of the same distance on the same day?

Yes, you can register for both the formats in the same race category and if confirmed, run on the same day, although for virtual race category, you will only be tracked via VDHM app.

Under what circumstances will my rejected application fee be refunded and how?

  1. Once your entry is received, no requests for refund of application fees will be entertained under any circumstances.
  2. Where your application is rejected for reasons whatsoever, the entry fee component paid will be refunded on or before 30th November 2023. An amount of ₹ 150 will be deducted as processing charges.
  3. Application fees shall not be refunded by virtue of non-participation, including failure by a confirmed participant to collect his/her bib from the Mirchi Get Active Expo.
  4. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Event registration team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained post-30th November 2023.

Will I be eligible for a refund in case I didn’t pick up my confirmed bib from the expo?

Will I get a refund of my entry fees, if my application is not accepted?

Participation in the event is subject to entry confirmation. Where your application is not confirmed for any reason, the application fees paid by you will be refunded on or before 30th November 2023. An amount of ₹175 will be deducted as processing charges. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the event registration team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained post 30th November 2023.

Will I get a refund for unused codes?

Once online codes are purchased, they can only be used online for the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2023 edition and till the time registrations are open or running places are available. The amount against unused codes can be refunded after deducting the processing fees of INR 175. The refund will be made by 30th December 2023.

Will I get a timing certificate and medal for participation in the Great Delhi Run (4.5 kms) Category?

The Great Delhi Run category is a participative, fun run. Being a non-timed category, finish timings of participants will not be captured; timing certificates will not be issued for this category. 

All finishers of the Great Delhi Run race category will get the finisher medal post their run on race day (medals will not be posted to individual runners).  Participation certificates of Great Delhi run participants will be available for download from https://www.sportstimingsolutions.in/ post 7 working days from race day

Will I get a timing certificate and medal for participation in the Senior Citizens’ Run (2.5 Kms) Category?

Will I get a timing certificate and medal for participation in the Champions With Disability (2.5 Kms) Category?

The Champions With Disability is a non-timed participative category. While timing certificates will not be provided, all finishers of the Champions with Disability race category, including Buddies, will get the finisher medal post their run on race day (please collect your medal before leaving the event venue; medals will not be posted to individual finishers). Also, participation certificates of CWD participants will be available for download from https://www.sportstimingsolutions.in/ after 7 working days after race day. 

Will I get a timing certificate and finishers medal for participating in the Half Marathon (21.097) Kms Category/Open 10K (10 Kms) Category?

Yes, all finishers of the Half Marathon/Open 10K race categories will get the finisher medal post their run on race day (medals will not be posted to individual runners). While provisional results will be available by 5 pm on race day, timing certificates of marathon finishers will be available for download from https://www.sportstimingsolutions.in post 21 working days from race day.

Can I change my race category once I have applied/my application is confirmed?

Once you have applied for a particular race category, you cannot change your race category.

Once I have applied can I cancel my application/surrender my bib for Half Marathon category and get a refund?

Once applied, no requests for refund of application fees will be entertained, under any circumstances.

When will I get my application confirmation and how?

Application confirmation will be sent to your registered email id and will also be updated in the “my profile section” on the VDHM website. You need to login with your registered email id to view your “My profile section”.

Can I register for my friend?

No. An applicant has to sign/agree to the waiver/consent himself/herself. You cannot register on your friend's behalf.

What will happen once I submit my Half Marathon application under confirmation criteria?

Your application for the half marathon will be confirmed based on the confirmation criteria mentioned here Please note, confirmation is subject to –

  1. Verification of valid timing certificate submitted by you.
  2. Verification of documents, where applicable, submitted by you.
  3. Verification of your application’s eligibility under each criterion.
  4. Availability of running spaces under each criterion.
  5. Entry Rules and Guidelines.

How can a group SPOC pick up all the bibs of the group from the expo?

Group collection for Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions With Disability participants: A group can send their representative/s to collect the running number bibs on behalf of their team members. Running number bibs of the entire group participating in Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ run and/or Champions With Disability category/ies will be handed over at one go. Groups need to select bib pick-up slots online. The representative/s need to carry the following documents for collection of number bibs:

(i) Printed copy of group confirmation email sent across to the group’s point person

(ii) Printed copy of signed letter on the NGO/company letterhead authorising the representative/s to collect number bibs on behalf of the group. 

(iii) Govt. approved photo ID proof of the representative.

No running number will be posted to individual mailing addresses for whatsoever reasons. Further, no number bibs will be handed over to any participant post the declared closing hours of the Expo – by 5 p.m. on Saturday, 14th October 2023. 

Can I and my group of friends/colleagues submit our applications together as a group?

Group entries will be accepted for all race categories i.e. Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions With Disability category. There has to be a minimum of 20 individual entries to comprise a group.  
1. Group Registration Process where the group/corporate is sponsoring the entry fees of its team members/employees for the Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions With Disability race category.

A.1. ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS
1. Point of contact of the group/ corporate (PoC) to email the request at corporateregistration@procam.in with the number of registrations required mentioning the group name and race categories.
2. Post receiving the group/ corporate group registration email request, the PoC will be emailed the payment link to pay the cumulative entry fees of all its team members.
3. On making online payment, PoC to share online payment receipt on email: corporateregistration@procam.in with group/corporate details to receive online group registration codes. No codes will be shared if the payment receipt is not shared with us on email: corporateregistration@procam.in. The amount against unused codes will be refunded after deducting the processing fees of INR 175 from the total refundable amount. The refund will be made by 30th December 2023.
4. On receiving payment confirmation email, a receipt voucher of registration fees will be generated and sent by PIPL to the PoC’s email address.
5. The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon registration team will email PoC the unique codes required to get the individual team members registered online to be part of the group.
6. All members of the group/corporate need to individually register using the online codes issued by PIPL.
7. By using the code, the team member is not required to pay the applicable entry fees of the on-ground Half Marathon/Open 10K/ Great Delhi Run/Senior Citizens’ Run/Champions With Disability category. 
8. Purchasing online codes does not guarantee entry to the event. The members of the group/corporate need to register online here using codes before the registration end date or till the running spaces are available for the on-ground Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions With Disability category at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2023 edition. Registrations will close as and when the running spaces are filled.
9. Once online codes are purchased, they can only be used online for the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2023 edition and till the time registrations are open or running places are available.
10. Team members not mentioning the online code given by PIPL, and as intimated to them by their POC, will not be considered to be part of the group. Such applicants will be required to collect their running bib number from the Mirchi Get Active Expo separately. No provision of refunding the individual payment or adding such participants in the group will be entertained.

                                                                               OR
A.2. OFFLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS VIA PHYSICAL FORM
1. All members of the group/corporate need to individually fill the application form attached in the email issued by PIPL and attach all relevant documents with the form. To receive soft copy of the application form, please write to us at corporateregistration@procam.in 
2. The POC of the Group will have to provide the below mentioned documents:
A covering letter on an official letterhead issued by the company/NGO/any other entity. The format of the cover letter is available here and will include the details given below:

• Name of the group/corporate.
• Total Number of entries in each race category.
• Payment mode selected: i.e. Cheque/DD/Card Payment/NEFT/Online payment via link.
• Name, contact number, email id of the one point of contact of the group and address of the group/corporate/entity/NGO.
• GST Number of the company/entity to raise an invoice.
• State Name and State Code to raise an invoice.
1. The POC of the group will have to submit all the application forms filled out by the members of the group at our registration office. Please call us at +91 8527276694 (10 am to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday) or email at corporateregistration@procam.in  for submission of group application forms.
2. POC needs to make the payment by Cheque/Demand Draft/ NEFT. (All cheques and demand drafts are to be drawn in favor of “PROCAM INTERNATIONAL PVT. LTD.”)
3. Post receiving all the above-given documents with payment, an invoice will be sent to the point of contact’s email address mentioned in the cover letter.
4. SPOC of the group will be able to collect running bibs of all the group members, who have registered, from the expo. 
5. All requisite mandatories (submission of mandatory documents) will apply to all team members registering under the group.

B. Group Registration Process where individual team members/ employees will be paying their own entry fees for the Half Marathon/Open 10K/Great Delhi Run/Senior Citizens’ Run/Champions With Disability participative category. 
ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS
1. Point of contact of the group/ corporate (POC) email the request at corporateregistration@procam.in with the number of registrations required in the Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ Run, Champions With Disability race category, mentioning the group name. 
2. The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon registration team will email POC the common group registration code required to get the individual team members registered online to be part of the group.  
3. All members of the group/corporate need to individually register online here using the common group registration code issued by PIPL, and pay the applicable entry fee.
4. Purchasing the common group registration code does not guarantee entry to the event. The members of the group/corporate need to register online here using code before the registration end date or until the running spaces are available at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2023 edition. Registrations will close as and when the running spaces are filled.
5. Team members not mentioning the online code given by PIPL, and as intimated to them by their POC, will not be considered to be part of the group. Such applicants will be required to collect their running bib number from the Mirchi Get Active Expo separately. No provision of refunding the individual payment or adding such participants in the group will be entertained.
6. All requisite mandatories (submission of mandatory documents) will apply for all team members registering under the group.

How can I collect my bib for the on-ground race?

a. In order to collect running number bibs from the Mirchi Get Active Expo, Major Dhyanchand Stadium, Gate no. 3, Opp High court, India Gate Cir, National Stadium, India Gate, New Delhi, Delhi 110001 from Thursday, 12th October to Saturday, 14th October 2023, participants will need to choose their bib collection time slots. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmed participants residing in Delhi are requested to choose their bib collection time slots across 12th and 13th October, allowing time slots available on 14th October for outstation participants to collect their number bibs.

b. It is mandatory for all individual participants of the Half Marathon and Open 10K race categories to collect their running numbers personally from the Bib Collection Centre within the Mirchi Get Active Expo. Confirmed participants must carry along following documents in order to collect his/her number bib:

(i) Application confirmation.
(ii) Govt. approved photo ID proof.

c. In case of unavoidable circumstances, a runner confirmed in any of the above 2 mentioned race categories can send his/her representative to collect running number bib on his/her behalf. Please note, a representative will not be allowed to collect running number bib on behalf of more than ONE participant. The representative must carry along following documents for number bib collection:

(i) Application confirmation.
(ii) Govt. approved photo ID proof of the runner.
(iii) Govt. approved photo ID proof of the representative.

No running number will be posted to individual mailing addresses for whatsoever reasons. Further, no number bibs will be handed over to any participant post the declared closing hours of the Expo – by 5 p.m. on Saturday, 14th October 2023.

While registering online, what should I do if the amount is deducted from my account but my transaction status is shown as pending?

What should I do if I am unable to open the registration website?

We recommend you to use an updated version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome for an optimized registration experience. You should also clear the cache and cookies and retry. If the problem still persists, send us a screenshot of the error at vedantadelhihalfmarathon@procam.in

On what grounds can my application be rejected or declared invalid?

Your application can be rejected on any of the grounds listed below. A regret email will be sent to the email ID mentioned in the form spelling out the reason for not accepting your application.

  1. Incomplete form submitted.
  2. Waiver & consent not signed.
  3. The applicant is underage for the race chosen.
  4. Mutilated form/cheque/demand draft submitted.
  5. More than one application received from the same applicant for an on-ground event.
  6. Short receipt or non-receipt of application fee.
  7. Required documents not attached/submitted/submitted documents not valid.
  8. Running places are full.
  9. Any other reason

What options do I have in case my application gets rejected?

Unregistered applicants can approach the participating NGOs (registered with the Philanthropy Partner, United Way Delhi) for availing Charity Running Places, which are available by making a donation. Charity Running Places will be available till 30th September 2023 or until charity running places are available, whichever is earlier.

(i) Relevant confirmation criteria will be applicable for the timed race categories
(ii) Such applicants will also need to submit all the necessary mandatory documents as specified in the application process. 
(iii) Charity Bibs are available from 3rd August 2023.

How can I book my bib pick up slot at the expo for the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2023 on-ground race category?

For this edition, participants will be given options to choose their bib pick-up time slot; overseas and outstation participants will get a slot preference for Saturday, 14th October 2023. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

To book a slot, login using your registered email id on  https://vedantadelhihalfmarathon.procam.in/ and choose a date and time as per your preference and availability under web profile. You can also view your application confirmation after logging in to the web profile.

Is a Goodie bag available to all participants of Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2023?

Yes, Goodie Bags will be available for participants on Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2023.

Can you post me my Running Number Bib?

No. All participants must come to the Expo to collect their Bibs.

Can I transfer my bib to somebody else or somebody else can run on my bib?

No, it cannot be transferred to somebody else.  Race day images of participants will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participants is found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event in 2024. Further, Procam International reserves the right to take necessary legal action against the registered participant and the person who has used the running number bib on race day, for impersonation.

IMPORTANT: All running bibs have a unique barcode affixed to it. This barcode is synced to the personal details of the registrant, including photographs, submitted by them while registering. All running bibs will be scanned at the entrances of the event venue. Persons without a bib or wearing an incorrect or invalid bib, or where the photograph submitted along with the form does not match with the person wanting to enter the venue, WILL NOT be allowed entry. For Groups, do make sure that you distribute bibs as per the list shared with the group POC and assigned by the Promoter. You are sincerely advised NOT TO EXCHANGE THE RUNNING BIB WITH ANOTHER PARTICIPANT/PERSON. Procam International will also blacklist the group from participating in the next edition if the group is found to have distributed bibs to non-registered participants/incorrect participants.

Will I get my bib replaced in case I lose it, or post a bib collection?

No, we will not be able to replace any bib once it has been collected from our end. 

Can I register on the day of the event?

No. Requests for registration will not be entertained after closure of respective registration dates.
